tiger (Unix security audit and intrusion detection tool)

Tiger is a security tool that can be use both as a security audit and
intrusion detection system. It supports multiple UNIX platforms and
it is free and provided under a GPL license. Unlike other tools, Tiger
needs only of POSIX tools and is written entirely in shell language.

GPG SIGNATURE VERIFICATION (Optional):

The official Tiger website instructs users to verify source tarballs
using the developer's historical DSA key (0xDC814B09).
However, recent releases (including version 3.2.4rc1) are actually
signed using his updated RSA key (8B1F6F48AB257F98).

If you wish to manually verify the authenticity of the tarball before
running the SlackBuild, you can import the correct key and perform the
check by running the following commands:

  # gpg --keyserver hkps://keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 8B1F6F48AB257F98
  # gpg --verify tiger_${VERSION}.tar.gz.sig tiger_${VERSION}.tar.gz

IMPORTANT:

While I provide this pre-packaged version for convenience,
I highly recommend downloading the source code directly from
the official repository and verifying it manually to ensure
maximum security and authenticity.
